The Pink Project will be our main focus for the whole of 2007 therefore, if you have any fundraising ideas, please leave a message on our guestbook or shoutbox.
Cordinaires Dance Troupe would like to thank a few members of our local community for their support over the last 25 years.

We would like to say thank you to John Hughes, the caretaker of the Wrockwardine Wood Junior School for opening and locking up after us every monday.

We would also like to thank each committee member and all staff at the legion for allowing us to use the function room over the summer period and also for the use of the function room every sunday during the closed season and for their constant support.

We would also like to thank Betty Kane for making our wonderful costumes year in year out and making alterations as and when necessary.

Thank you to Kaye Price our cheif party organiser, without Kaye we would all starve at presentation night and open night.

Dancers need help
May I, through your letter page, say a few thank yous. On January 6, I attended the presentation of the local, very successful, dance troupe The Cordinaires.

This was a fantastic night after a very successful season. This night would not have been so enjoyable without the organisation by Wendy Naggington and all who helped her.

Wendy is the principal of the dance troupe which involves children from the age of two years to adult age and who are a great bunch of people to be around.

A big thank you to Betty, who with help from her daughter makes everyone lovely dresses.

The presentation night, I think, was one of the best I have been to - I have attended 14 presentation nights. These girls can only carry on being successful with funding. Although everybody in this dance troupe tries very hard raising funds our bank balance is suffering.

At our presentation a member of Donnington Sports Club donated £200 to our funds out of his own savings - a big, big thank you for your generosity (you know who you are).

Maybe there is a company out in Telford who could help this dance troupe have another successful season with a sponsorship. So go on please, we may not be a football team but we are a very successful dance troupe.

Once again thank you to Wendy and her team for what I thought was the best presentation night in 14 years.
